Pancake rolls were hot, but quite bland. Chicken curry with fried rice 50p extra) was standard food with the cheap, disgusting, flavourless reconstituted chicken that I cannot believe anybody still uses typical curry sauce. Lady M's starter of courgettes was also flavourless she left most of it) but her vegetarian curry was much better.We were the only diners in a cold restaurant very lacking in atmosphere. Maybe it would be better on a warmer day with more diners, but it was not inspiring today. Our waitress was lovely, the food hot, but that's about where the positives end.Doubt if we would return, sorry.

The staff are well-informed about food a... read more It's really difficult to find a Chinese restaurant that can cater for Gluten intolerant people, so De Fresh stands out. The staff are well-informed about food allergies so it makes eating out or ordering a takeaway simple for us with a Coeliac disease sufferer in the family. The food is always tasty and freshly cooked, recommended for eat in or take home.

Food is good value for the quality and quantity. This is not the fanciest place but it is by no means shabby and has a lovely feel about it and staff are friendly

This got you Prawn Crackers, Chicken Sweetcorn Soup a host of mixed appetisers Shredded Duck Pancakes and a selection of Main Meals with Special Fried Rice. Well the food was top notch and we were all struggling after the duck but made room for the main course as it was so tasty. Been here a few times now and never had a bad dining experience. Would definitely recommend.
