I don't think it's a surprise that the Ales/Bier are absolutely spots here. but I just wanted to scream about the cakes! This was one of the hot cakes they serve at the bar in contrast to something from the menu. It was absolutely beautiful. end-up with one with my first pint other with my second! I would like to say a great thank you to all the cross keys employees who would not have been more helpful. we left them with tablecloths, flower vases, balloons, twinkly lights at 4.00 clock and are crashed to be ready! the room was nicely decorated when we came back and victoria loved it! it was a busy night for the staff, as they had a big party in... Probably the best pub in the north. great beer and weeping and eating is to die.

Great pub restaurant with very relaxed courtyard behind. Visit a private dinner party up on a Saturday night. Great food, selected by good options, friendly staff and reaction service, and usually a relaxed atmosphere. Next time I take the train as Leeds Station is so close to Water Lane!!!
