The food was excellent and reasonably... read more Ok, so this was simply a great night. We had the festive menu which was limited in places but enough choice to suit most. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The service was very good and the young staff was very attentive. There was not much to improve on although the restaurant was very warm and the views of the castle at night are hard to see as the restaurant is very bright. It would have been better to be in a lower-lit room so you could benefit from the castle views. However, a nice experience and would recommend it.

Unfortunately, we were asked to leave by overly aggressive and rude bouncers at 3:30 PM because we needed a separate evening ticket for the light show. The website didn’t clarify this at all. Next time, we’ll choose Hever Castle, where one ticket covers everything. Very disappointing experience!

Housed in a beautifully converted barn, it offers breathtaking views of the castle while you enjoy your meal. I ordered the castle burger with extra cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. It was served with skin-on fries, which are one of my favorites. My friend chose the fish and chips and thoroughly enjoyed it. Tea is served in a pot, which is always a nice touch. The staff is lovely, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the grounds.

Went to the Castle View restaurant at 12.20 for lunch only to be told that they were taking no or... read more Visited Leeds Castle on the day the Narnia exhibition started. Went to the Castle View restaurant at 12.20 for lunch only to be told that they were taking no orders because of a wedding reception later that day. The restaurant next door was also not serving hot food. There were no notices to this effect when we booked it at the entrance. This Siri really spoilt what should have been a good day out. I advise visitors to be very wary in future.
