The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The service was very good and the young staff was very attentive. There was not much to improve on although the restaurant was very warm and the views of the castle at night are hard to see as the restaurant is very bright. It would have been better to be in a lower-lit room so you could benefit from the castle views. However, a nice experience and would recommend it.

During our two-night stay in Leedsburg, both breakfast and dinner were included. The staff was extremely welcoming, and the food was delicious—particularly the beef, which was prepared exquisitely and had a delicate touch. We also tried a local red wine that was exceptional. The dessert options, including the caramel custard disc and passion fruit delice, were outstanding! Just a note: the menu may vary depending on the season.

Be sure to read about Lady Baillie, the former owner and heiress. We stayed in the Glamping area, where we enjoyed a lovely grill. Later, we took a nice evening walk through the grounds. The sunset was nearby, and we captured some amazing photos of the castle. When we returned, we roasted marshmallows by the fire pit.

Housed in a beautifully converted barn, it offers breathtaking views of the castle while you enjoy your meal. I ordered the castle burger with extra cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. It was served with skin-on fries, which are one of my favorites. My friend chose the fish and chips and thoroughly enjoyed it. Tea is served in a pot, which is always a nice touch. The staff is lovely, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the grounds.
