The food was excellent and reasonably... read more Ok, so this was simply a great night. We had the festive menu which was limited in places but enough choice to suit most. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The service was very good and the young staff was very attentive. There was not much to improve on although the restaurant was very warm and the views of the castle at night are hard to see as the restaurant is very bright. It would have been better to be in a lower-lit room so you could benefit from the castle views. However, a nice experience and would recommend it.

Unfortunately, we were asked to leave by overly aggressive and rude bouncers at 3:30 PM because we needed a separate evening ticket for the light show. The website didn’t clarify this at all. Next time, we’ll choose Hever Castle, where one ticket covers everything. Very disappointing experience!
