The chef was pleasant and obliging, and we felt welcome. Enjoyed every freshly made mouthful, and the prices were a pleasant surprise too. Unpretentious cafe, and all the better for that!

Al-Baba is an unassuming, modest cafe on Kirkgate, but don't be put off by it's humble interior, because here you will find the very best authentic Lebanese food in the city. The menu is excellent, and the food superb. Service is pleasant and friendly, and it is always a pleasure to visit. They also do a takeaway service. Exceptional value for money.
