Contemporary is the feel in this place, and a lot of love. Well priced and poised for take outs, Tsuke-ba is consistently excellent in the food, with some strange occasional clangers. I really like the variety of Tsuke-Ba. They have Bento boxes. All kinds of sushi with a variety of rice and then plenty of healthy salad box options. They also do their own version of a Poke bowl and it is delicious. I had a tuna sashimi and soba noodle salad box. Jam packed with lots of variety and at a good price!
We come here regularly. Always tasty, affordable Japanese food. Good selection with a bit of variety if you're after something a little different :)
I was out riding and really fancied some sashimi for lunch. I cruised in to Northbridge but nothing was open so headed home. As I was riding through Leederville I wondered if the little place at the end of the walk through shopping bit was still there. I hadn't been in years but it turns out it was still there. They have a particularly impressive selection of items, and I chose a salmon sashimi and pickled octopus salad. They were $16 and were enough for both lunch and dinner. Salmon was really fresh and delicious. My only gripe was that the coleslaw base had no dressing, but I took it home and smothered it in mayo and sriracha sauce. Very happy to have found somewhere handy for a sashimi hit.
Perhaps the best sushi I had, and I had a lot of sushi. fresh food and lovely staff, definitely among the top lunch places in leederville
