Was Jazzmin Loo Loo C at Cabbage Key a mag?
I'm finally getting around to writing this review! This was my first real vacation, and I couldn't be more thrilled! As soon as we arrived, we spotted a pod of dolphins! The shrimp... View all feedback.
What Rich Hutton dislikes about Cabbage Key:
I had another wonderful stay at Cabbage, specifically in Snook Inn. The service was exceptional, with Ms. Amy standing out as a true highlight. She recommended some menu customizations, made our two kids feel entertained (they brought their food out first, which is incredibly helpful for parents of toddlers), and even located our lost water bottle, much to my son's joy. I had another wonderful stay at Cabbage, specifically in Snook Inn. The service was exceptional, with Ms. Amy standing out as a true highlight. Just a heads up, this isn’t a five-star resort, so keep your expectations in check. It's a charming, rustic inn with fishing cottages. If you treat the staff like family, they'll reciprocate that warmth. This is old-world Florida at its finest. I'm already looking forward to returning next year.
I only dined at the restaurant and was quite disappointed. The food was mediocre and overpriced. If you're going to charge $20 for a cheeseburger, it should be cooked perfectly; instead, I ordered it medium and received it well done. The cocktails were served in tiny cups, reminiscent of Dixie cups. Next time, I think I’ll bring my own lunch. On a positive note, the view and the boat ride were fantastic.
Cabbage Key Restaurant was such a fun surprise! We had friends take us via boat and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The Pina colada was delicious and everyone enjoyed their meals, from burgers to seafood. Our waitress was lovely, as well as the manager. The waitress gave us lettuce for my kids to feed the resident Gopher Tortoises. We had a nice walk around the island before we left. What a cool experience!
Went here for lunch, couldn't have asked for a better experience! Our server, Elise was wonderful. The entire staff was attentive, entertaining, and kind. Becky was another stand-out member of the staff, super kind and welcoming. Dined in the iconic dollar room and even put our names on the dollars! All dollars that fall go to the local children's hospital. Worth a visit any day!
We decided to take our visiting friends to experience cabbage key for lunch. We took our boat from North Fort Myers to cabbage key. The trip took us about an hour and a half to get there. But it was well worth it. We are not going to lie, the drinks are expensive and the food is expensive but it still worth the experience.
