I tried the Raged Nativity... read more The decor was cozy and inviting, but the meal was only average. Everything looked appealing, yet it lacked a certain depth of flavor. I tried the Raged Nativity, Vertigo, and two chicken dishes, but they were all just mediocre. The horse stable dish wasn't even well-prepared. My expectations were higher, especially since I usually visit the Old Moose Factory site, which I believe offers a better experience.

However, the food took a bit longer than expected due to the lunch rush. I had the bacon-wrapped scallops, which were tasty, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved the waffle chicken sandwich—it was delicious! I could have used a few more fries, but overall, dinner time is always a great experience. Just a reminder to bring your loyalty card; I forgot mine!

However, we did encounter some issues that seemed to stem from management rather than our server, who was clearly overwhelmed. It appeared that there were only two servers handling the entire lounge on a busy Friday night, which just wasn't enough. Our server was truly swamped, and we felt really bad for her. As a result, we had to wait a long time for our drinks and food. By the time we received our appetizers, the couple at the table next to us, who had been seated at the same time, had already finished their meal. The man who brought our food—who seemed to be either the manager or the owner—didn’t apologize for the delay and didn’t check in on us to see if we needed anything else. We didn’t even have a chance to order more drinks. It was clear that there weren’t enough servers or bartenders scheduled, which really impacted the quality of service we experienced.

The ribs I chose were tasty, but the vegetables that accompanied my meal were outstanding! The asparagus, carrots, and roasted beets were perfectly tender, crisp, and bursting with flavor, especially when paired with the scrumptious garlic mashed potatoes. My partner's prime rib was cooked rare, just as he asked, and even the Yorkshire pudding exceeded our expectations. I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area!
