The burger was thick, delicious, tastily spiced,... read more After a golf game at the local course, we went to Barneys Pub for a burger and fries. We weren't disappointed. The burger was thick, delicious, tastily spiced, perfectly cooked and came with an onion ring! Interestingly, one of the best features of the burger was the bun. I am not sure what kind of bun it was but it was sweeter than usual and came with the "Barneys Brand" tattooed on the top half of the bun which made for great presentation. The fries were fried just how I like them; crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. They also came very hot! The all in price was $15. The service was fast and friendly. This restaurant has a vast selection of local draft beers. On this occasion we did not partake of the brews. It was a sunny day, so we sat on the outside patio where we had the choice of sitting in the sun or shade. After 4 hours on the course we choose the shade.

Immediately our waitress Shona was at our table. She had to be one of the friendliest servers we have ever had. We just wanted some appetizer and a nice cold brew. They have a wall of beer here, first of its kind in Canada..you help yourself to a myriad of craft beers.Blonde to IPA. Shona met us there and introduced us to it. Loved being able to help ourselves. Was recommended for wings , the Maple and Bacon. A must try and the juiciest wings ever. Good job Barneys and thank you Shona

It seems safety isn't a top priority in the area, but Barney's offers a secure... read more We stumbled upon this hidden gem while looking for a safe dining option in Leduc. It seems safety isn't a top priority in the area, but Barney's offers a secure outdoor patio surrounded by lush greenery. Located in the Best Western Plus, this restaurant offers high-quality dining at reasonable prices. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, despite being busy on Father's Day. The steaks were fantastic and the chicken Caesar salad was the best I've ever had, and I've traveled extensively so I can say that with confidence. The only downside was the grilled corn on the cob, which was served cold. They replaced it, but it still didn't come out hot. However, the fries were delicious and the wine selection was decent. I would definitely consider returning to Barney's if I'm passing through on QE 2 and feeling hungry.

Despite there being no one inside the restaurant and only one person on the patio with a dog, the management said no dogs were allowed. The restaurant is attached to a Best Western hotel. The waiter provided good service, but the food could be improved.
