After arriving from Toronto today, my daughter grandson and I decided to go here to eat. Our first impression was a great atmosphere, then within a minute of sitting down we were given menus....wow...what a huge selection. I had the lettuce wraps which were very good. What User doesn't like about The Canadian Brewhouse:
Family dinner and disappointed with appetizers and meals. Everything was excessively salty, chicken parmigiana was cold and large lumps of cheese in pasta. Perogy Pizza was very salty, pizza had very thin crust and was not very tasteful or filling. Buffalo chicken appetizer was... very cheerful and plentiful, but also very salty. Recently stopped by for a break from a long road trip with the family. The atmosphere inside seemed light and fun. We seated ourselves on the patio which was clean and pleasant. The service was on point, getting greeted and having our food brought out in a timely manner. However I was disappointed in the food. I had the steak sandwich which was very dry, I didn't want to be 'that' customer so I ate most of it and then showed it to the waitress that it was indeed dry. Another disappointment was the waitress brushed it off and did not seem to follow through with telling the kitchen and/or managment. The mushrooms also weren't that great. The garlic toast was delicious though! I would of been pleasantly surprised if the food was good but unfortunately the Canadian Brewhouse is now lumped in restaurants who can't cook a steak!
Enjoy those important games with guests, great food and beverage served by friendly staff in an entertaining environment.
It's ok, nothing to write home about. Not really my type of place. It's a sports bar. patio is good.
The Prawns are amazing, Only wish they were Gluten Free. Because of an allergy I can not eat them any more. Instead of breaded prawns for myself I order the best Nacho's, Lots of chips, cheese, chicken and just the right amount of Jalapenos.... Amazing chips. Our Thursday night Guys night is always enjoyed by all.......
A buddy of mine suggested this place. Walked in,sat ourselves, and within no time a server was there to take our drink orders. It seemed a minute later she was back with our drinks and took our food order. With only a few mothfuls left in my beer she was back...."another round?", which I appreciate as a customer. The wings came out quick,hot,and tasty. The beer was served in an ice cold mug which was perfect. Tons of tv's, a patio, lots of servers, and a very good atmosphere. In these days of hustle and bustle, this place and it's staff are attentive, deliver a great product in an efficient and friendly manner. Shout out to our great server Kaitlyn and manager Justin.Definately recommend and will be back!
