I have never been so disrespect. I've came to the place multiple times. I usually call at home, then pick it up on the way to work. Today I called and the person answers but asked me to be on hold. The lady put the phone down on the counter withoutmuting me and I can hear everything shes saying. She called me lazy and said how I am probably in the car in the parking lot. Iheard her call me lazy and inconsiderate almost 5 times. Then she says she was just going to keep me on hold for 20 minutesthen go back to the phone! I was just being proactive in my commute to make sure I'm not late for work. At least put me on muteif you want to bad mouth me. This is not the first time this lady has been rude either. Be more respectful of you customers forthe future. I hope no one else goes though what I went through today. Who wants their day to start with someone being sonegative and rude. You're sometimes the first person someone sees or talks to. Try to be kinder in the first and re-teachyourself manners.

My coworkers and I order from them about 2-3 times a month over the last 2 years about. The food is good which is why we always end up going back. The service on the other hand is absolutely terrible and has gotten much worse over the last few months. Wemake sure we place the order for lunch by 10:30AM otherwise they take the phone off the hook if they get too busy. We pick upat 12:15 so this gives them plenty of time to get the order ready yet you still end up waiting 20-25 minutes. I actually don'teven think they start the order until we arrive is how it seems. We tried to order today and got put on hold for almost 15minutes and then tried to call back twice and they literally picked up the phone and hung it up. Third time trying to call itwas a busy signal so they took the phone off the hook. Guess they don't want our business. We ordered from Alfa Bagelinstead...awesome food and friendly service always! Our food is always ready when we get there too. I highly recommend theminstead. This place I would steer clear of. It's a shame too because their food is good....but the service and attitude of theowners makes it not worth it.

Java Joes is one of my favorite Bagel places, Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese is my favorite, the everything bagel with extra butter is delicious too. This place gets busy and parking can be annoying plan accordingly, good fresh food takes time to make, if youare in a hurry or inpatient not for you. One of the best bagels in the area.

Rude guy, refused to take order over the phone. Not sure if that?s just their policy or they were too busy. For very average breakfast food, they should at least be warm and inviting. I see an ?under new management? sign in their future. There?s plentyof other options in the area, skip this place.

I don?t think I?ll be back here. I came in as a new customer with my mother since we are new to the area and wanted to check it out. I am a vegetarian, so I realized there weren?t many options which it?s okay; it happens. I was speaking to the girl takingmy order, and I kindly asked if there was a sandwich that they could make vegetarian. They looked lost as if they had never hada vegetarian come in. Okay, that?s fine. They gave me an option. I wasn?t feeling it, so I just went with the egg saladsandwich, which is also okay. The girl asked me what type of bread, and I asked her the options again, and I apologized becauseI said, ?we are new here. I?m not sure of the options. can you repeat them again?? The older man with white hair (i assumed hewas the manager or owner) interrupted and said in an annoyed disrespectful voice, ?we are just like any other bagel store here,?and another very petty angry comment. It wasn?t even the comment that was rude. His look towards me was just straight-up hatefuland angry. That made me really uncomfortable. I don?t know. I quickly assumed maybe they were racist because we are hispanic? My mom was uncomfortable too. She also felt that he was racist. They all looked at us weird because I was translating to mymother the options in English. I don?t know, we felt completely out of place. As far as the food goes,? not very good. Thetoast was burnt on both sides. They hid the side that was burned the most to cover the sandwich. Pretty sneaky. My mom'ssandwich was very salty. The sandwiches come with a giant bagel chip which seemed weird to me. The coffee was good, though. Thatis the only positive thing I have to say about this place. We wished we would have gone tried Beanbury or go back to Roxburybagel or hell, go to Dunkin Donuts they have really friendly staff. Unfortunately this is the downside of trying out a newplace. We are going to stick with Roxbury Bagel next time. Great food there and VERY nice people.
