My husband ordered a full stack of pancakes but only received two small ones; he didn't want to complain about it. When our food was delivered, she placed it on the table without saying a word and hurried off. She didn’t check if we needed anything or offer a coffee refill. Later, when I requested a takeout box, she rushed by our table and dropped it down without stopping to engage. Even if the restaurant had been busy (which it wasn’t), a little politeness would have gone a long way.

She took our order, and we thoroughly enjoyed our food, praising the overall experience. Towards the end of our meal, as is customary, I requested a to-go plate for my son's leftovers along with the check. However, an unexpected issue arose when I tried to pay for our dinner. I discovered that my bank was undergoing maintenance, and despite my efforts to resolve the issue with their representatives, I was informed that we would have to wait until 3 AM for the system to be back online. Even my girlfriend's bank was experiencing the same issue, and we have entirely separate accounts. This is where the story takes a heartwarming turn. When we explained our situation to Kayla and the manager, Hailey Ramos, they immediately offered to cover our dinner so that my family and I could continue our journey home. Their kindness overwhelmed me, and I was genuinely surprised by the selflessness displayed by both of them. It's remarkable that they had only just met us, yet they willingly paid for our $54 bill. I was determined to reciprocate their generosity, so I insisted on making a Zelle payment as soon as I could log onto my bank online, and they kindly accepted. I cannot express enough gratitude for the compassion and generosity shown by Kayla and Hailey during our unexpected situation. Their actions truly embody the spirit of exceptional hospitality, and my family and I will always remember the remarkable service we received at Denny’s located at 5701 Dennis McCarthy Dr. Thank you, Kayla, and thank you, Hailey, for everything you did. T... read more Never ventured down the road far enough to stop for a meal here, but definitely wasn't disappointed. The restaurant and bathroom is clean and well-maintained. The waitresses are friendly and attentive. Food was served hot, almost like it was cooked in mykitchen. If you need a place to sit down to enjoy a delicious meal away from the chaos of a rest stop, this is the place to go.
