This place always offers a great selection of vegan pastries and breakfast sandwiches. While the lattes can be a bit on the weak side, I keep coming back for more! View all feedback.
What Andii C doesn't like about Outta The Blue Cafe:
I decided to visit this café because of the fantastic reviews, but my experience was less than enjoyable. The barista seemed disinterested and unenthusiastic. She suggested the cinnamon brown sugar latte, which I ordered with oat milk. Unfortunately, it lacked any flavor and tasted purely like oat milk. For the $8-9 I spent, it just wasn’t worth it. I'm really disappointed. View all feedback.
Nice place with delicious baked items! Great coffee while slowly swinging on the swings that are provided as seating. The staff was friendly. Great location.
I had an espresso martini. It was delicious! The atmosphere is great and they even have seats that are swings.
Excellent drink (both coffee and cocktail and food options. The waffle breakfast sandwich is tasty and different from the usual coffee shop options and there is a nice selection of gluten free pastries. Coffee is always perfectly made and the Mai Tai was authentic to the original recipe for the drink not overly sweet. I love that you can enjoy a beachy vibe in the middle of Kansas during winter! I also love that they lean into the beachy vibe without appropriating native culture :
Staff is always so warm and kind to me! My coffee tastes the same no matter who makes it! So many times I've seen people be rude and unkind to these wonderful shop workers due to shortages in food options (none of which is their fault btw! The atmosphere is what you make it! Everything there is amazing, from the people to the product, when you practice kindness yourself ? I've been going here daily for over a year and will continue to do so!
MEMO TO these owners who keep hiring all these millennials with ZERO customer service skills: two stars taken for not being able to at least fake a smile and 2 stars taken for no eye contact. You better start taking responsibility for the type of entitled people you hire. I'm ok with your virtue signaling with these head to toe tattooed and 20 piercings proud, self-expressive people but at least teach them how to properly act with customers. Yes, I'm old but you better realize who your customer is. I've owned multiple businesses in customer service over 4 decades and this was my priority. If you're going to charge $9 for coffee and still expect a tip, figure this out quick. My first time here and my last.
