Was Anonym at Stampmill Saloon a mag?
We came across this restaurant while strolling through the park, and the inviting patio caught our attention. The Turkey BLT was incredibly delicious, with the bread toasted to perfection—each bite offered a delightful burst of flavor from the sourdough. The water was refreshing, and the service was prompt. Definitely worth a visit; we’re glad we did! View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Stampmill Saloon:
The staff was nice but it took a long time to get in with a wheel chair and if you are handicap don't come by yourself because there's not a ramp just steps and the only door we could get through that was still stepped up but not to high was locked and it took at least 5 plus minutes to get the door unlocked. The bathrooms weren't handicap accessible either. There were tiles missing and all over the floor. Overall it... View all feedback.

The food and service was excellent! Between the four of us, we ordered the chicken fried steak, the miner 's chicken sandwich, pork chop with mushroom sauce, and the rooster burger. We all enjoyed our food. Real down home feel to the place. Would go back again!

The experience was just average. The food was unremarkable, and the drinks were mediocre. The restrooms were quite dirty. The bartender was friendly and helpful, but the kitchen and other staff could benefit from more professional attire. Overall, the price per person ranges from $10 to $20. Nestled in a historic Victorian building, this restaurant offers a charming old-west ambiance and comfortable suites upstairs, perfect for a unique getaway. The menu features diverse options like Irish stew, portabella burgers, and salmon, with some dishes praised for flavor while others received mixed seasoning reviews. Service is generally friendly and engaging, though patrons have noted occasional lapses in professionalism and cleanliness. Pricing leans high, with some customers questioning portion sizes and extra fees. Flies and strict seating policies have also impacted the experience. Overall, it’s ideal for those seeking atmosphere and history, but food and service quality may vary.

OMG! The salads are legit! We go there at least twice a week for a good healthy option. Atmosphere is great, staff is wonderful!
I'm puzzled by the negative reviews. My husband and I enjoyed a lovely dinner here tonight. I ordered a steak that was cooked to perfection, exactly how I requested, while my husband had a large and deliciously messy burger. The fries, made in-house, were fantastic. We were welcomed promptly, received excellent service, and our food arrived quickly. We'll definitely come back again.
Food was great and servers were very kind. I was already fully happy with my experience but after my dinner they went beyond the call of duty when I realized I had left my retainer there. I called them to see if they had it and the server looked through the trash to eventually find it. They then kept it so that I could pick it up the next day. There aren’t many servers that would do that for a customer. Highly recommend for anyone traveling through.
I had some extra time after coming through the Black Hills so stopped at the Stampmill for a burger and beer lunch. Great little menu and friendly staff made the stop worthwhile. Outdoor dining deck was shaded after 12:00 noon and the view to the mountains in the east was quite nice.
