Between the four of us, we ordered the chicken fried steak, the miner 's chicken sandwich, pork chop with mushroom sauce, and the rooster burger. We all enjoyed our food. Real down home feel to the place. Would go back again!

I ordered a steak that was cooked to perfection, exactly how I requested, while my husband had a large and deliciously messy burger. The fries, made in-house, were fantastic. We were welcomed promptly, received excellent service, and our food arrived quickly. We'll definitely come back again.

I was already fully happy with my experience but after my dinner they went beyond the call of duty when I realized I had left my retainer there. I called them to see if they had it and the server looked through the trash to eventually find it. They then kept it so that I could pick it up the next day. There aren’t many servers that would do that for a customer. Highly recommend for anyone traveling through.

Great little menu and friendly staff made the stop worthwhile. Outdoor dining deck was shaded after 12:00 noon and the view to the mountains in the east was quite nice.
