The place was very quiet, just us two and one other couple, but the food was excellent, the service as quick as we wanted, and Sylvia is very friendly and helpful. The menu is rather limited, good seafood as 'raciones ' which can make a meal if you wish, and three varieties of Galegan beef. We shared a dish of mussels and followed with a Fillet and an Entrecote. Truly excellent meat, cooked exactly as we asked. We did not need or want pudding, which is just as well because none are offered, but as a Birthday treat, Sylvia found a couple of ice creams (no charge). And a bottle of house red at only 7 euros was perfect at lunchtime, just 10.5% but with the feel of a Crianza. Sylvia told us they had only been open since May 2015, so forget anything you might have seen from the previous life of what should rapidly become a serious alternative eating place in Laxe--and the views are terrific!
