This restaurant is a great place to visit overall! Their shepherd's pie and all of their cakes are top-notch. However, I wasn't impressed with their fish and chips when I tried them recently. Still, this is definitely a go-to spot for me!
The food was delicious! We dined outside, but it was a bit dark after the sun set, so more lighting would be nice. The portions were generous, enough for two people to share. The service was very good as well. If you have a smaller appetite, consider splitting dishes with a friend.
I personally adore their Old Fashioned Burger with extra bacon, cheese, and pickles, served with sweet potato fries. Their "croustade aux pommes et canneberges" is a must-try, with walnuts, vanilla ice cream, and caramel sauce. The menu offers diverse options to suit every palate, with generous portions at reasonable prices. The only improvement I would suggest is the spicy mayonnaise, which has a curry-like taste that doesn't quite complement the food.
Great bang for your buck! The portion sizes are very generous!
When we arrived at the restaurant, the hostess did not acknowledge us as she was busy with the menus. I had to approach her and inform her of my reservation before she finally seated us at a table that was already partially occupied.
