The only complaint was the oysters were very tiny with too much of a salty taste. They were not very good at all in comparison with many other restaurants of lower quality service. Too many mistakes on my bill, we were 5 people and charged for 6 plates, then ordered a dish that comes with fries and modified for mac n’cheese. The waiter said it would be an extra for the change and we agreed (extra meaning paying the difference). When the bill came, we were charged the full price of the mac n’cheese side. Okay, don't get me wrong. I like a good rub, I've been there for 5 times and drove over 200 miles each time. eating is it, except in Canada, american bbq! and they are good for qc and decent for south carolina. if you starve like a big service, a good hostess, a good price and jhon evil vater go to rubs in laval. I recommend that you do not travel to North/South carolina for diner. just something I would change more often, is the oil in the side is frit, causes come from black and who wants to eat something that has just been sunk in oil?
With distance the best ribs, pulled vertigo. real smokehouse with large staff and friendly owners. they despise all negative feedback from people who obviously know nothing about us South food
In front of the French pommes, now is frozen fries. we really disappointed that we did not go back there.
My first time getting a takeout at Rubs on Dagenais. Never again. The meat is SUPER dry and they put only a bit of toppings on the tacos. I was starving coming home from work so I decided to just finish it at home but...wow it was bad. One taco had nothing on it, no lettuce, sauce, corn nothing!!!! Very disappointed. It’s as if a kid made these tacos
Every time I go to Rubs, I never leave disappointed. The best ribs and biggest (680g instead of 454g) and the best burgers ever. My favorite is the portobelo burger. The manager/owner Steve is always there making sure you are satisfied with everything. Also not...to forget, an extensive beer list with many sizes of pitchers.
