When we pulled up there was one car in parking lot and I told my husband t... read more We went to Steffys today for lunch. Hadn 't been in awhile so I was ready for my sub. When we pulled up there was one car in parking lot and I told my husband this should be fast. Was I ever wrong. We ordered a supreme sub and a cheeseburger sub. There was one other table with 2 people who had already ordered. So far so good. About 15 minutes after placing our order the waitress came out and said they should be done any minute.10 minutes later she came out and said sorry it 's taking so long, the oven is cooking slow . HUH? It was another 7 minutes before we got our subs. I think they cooked one and forgot the other one because mine was hot and my husbands was cool. I would rather if that was the case they would have been honest and gave him the opportunity to eat his hot. Food was delicious though but th wait was ridiculous.

I waited over a... read more Today was the last straw for me at this restaurant. During my last five visits, I've been served by staff members who won’t even acknowledge me. I waited over an hour and a half for my food, and when it finally arrived, it was practically burnt. The owner refused to honor the discount, claiming it would cost her money. Additionally, I've consistently seen people who arrive after me receive their meals before I do. I will not return to this restaurant or any other eatery in Lavaca again.

Haven't had a Steffey's pizza in a long time simply because it's a hike to drive from my home to her business. We just happened to be in her town on another matter and decided to stop in for a take-out. Oh my goodness. It was sooooooo good. From now on, it will be worth the drive down there and back with one of her pizzas even if we have to reheat it in the microwave. Wish she would open a place in Fort Smith, she would have a life long customer.
