SUD only had 3 starters, 3 main and 3 desert. In a strange way, choosing...was quite hard, as all options seemed appealing to me. The food itself was simply delicious. The highlight was probably the dessert. It came with a quenelle of ice-cream that was divine. The rest of the plate was great too, but that really stood out. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere for a Tuesday night, certainly compared to other restaurants I walked past which were empty. The final bill was not cheap, but I thought with regard to the quality of food, it was perfectly reasonable.

When we got there, the waitress had no idea what each of the menu items contained and I had to explain to her what contained gluten and what did not....She then suggested that perhaps I could have just a bit of gluten! After explaining why I could not, she then went on to say that I could have none of the starters and she suggest that I stick to just a main course of which I could only have one! The chef did not make an appearance nor make any attempt to accommodate my needs. This restaurant is over priced, over pretentious with no consideration for diners. They should have just replied that they could not accommodate my food allergies. We had a drink and left. It was my husband's birthday and we were left scrambling to find a restaurant at the last minute!! A really bad start to what was supposed to be a fun evening.
