Just great! We went there without a reservation on Sunday and we were lucky because they were filled very quickly. Amazing staff! Carlos is well seasoned waiter who knows what he does..very funny, extremely professional and entertaining, although you can say that Lads are exhausted after the weekend. We had truffle fondue and beer. ..and it was DELICIOUS!! Then Armagnac was nice...After dinner staff gave us comp Shot... View all feedback.

He has artifacts from all over the world... it was great. I cannot praise this institution enough, especially because the staff, but eating delicious and very decent portions for a reasonable price. It's NOT when you do it in LAUSANNE!
I was aiming for a good place to eat a typical fondue and this place left me fully satisfied. As soon as you enter you can understand that you are in the right place from the great smell that fills the restaurant.
They have different variations of fondue, which were amaying especially with bolet mushrooms. The staff were very kind and recommended a good wine. The service was quite quick and the overall price was reasonable compared to other places. The other guests were very mixed,...families with kids but also students.
As a student two centuries ago, I used to visit L'Evèch as we called it at least twice a week. Medieval-looking wall frescoes might persuade you that the place has been here as long as the nearby Cathedral, but in reality opened in Now...it has become a highlight for fondue though crazy statistics point out that the world's largest cheese producer is nowhere else than... the United States, ahead of Germany and France ! What the hell do they know about fresh, soft, flowered, washed, pressed, heated, raw, hard or melt varieties ? Hence the best fondue in Lausanne... Among its best-kept secrets : a roof-garden in Summer and a wonderful hot chocolate in Winter.
