Pickled Evenings - Launceston
Pickled Evenings
Description
A recent dining experience at a restaurant in Launceston left a group of friends and family feeling frustrated and disappointed due to terrible customer service and long wait times. A few other customers reported rude staff and incorrect orders during their visits. However, not all experiences were negative as some diners found the food to be delicious and authentic, with generous portion sizes and great hospitality. Despite some service hiccups, the tasty dishes, especially the curries, received high praise from many customers. If in Launceston, this restaurant is worth a try for those craving delicious Indian cuisine.

Vegan foods are marked clearly on the menu. The staff was polite and the food was amazing. The wife and I actually just got a dahl to share with rice and naan so it worked out really cheap too.
Found this place via the app while staying in Launceston. I had the Mushrooms and Spinach (vegan) and my partner had the black lentils (vegetarian). Seriously the tastiest curry I’ve ever had authentic, deep and rich flavours.
Just back from a delicious dinner here. We were a group of two vegans and three meat eaters and were all well fed. I had the mushroom palak and daal tadka. Both delicious. We sat upstairs which is lovely and cosy.
Probably the friendliest staff out of any of the places I ate at during my 4 days in Launceston. Wish they had more vegan options, but the food they did have was excellent (mushroom spinach curry, eggplant and potato).
