What Emma H doesn't like about Indian Empire Restaurant:
We ordered through menulog mid week, and food arrived over an hour after ordering, stone cold, terrible curries and no rice included. Unbelievable the prices they are charging and what you are delivered. I will never support this business again. Much better curry houses in Launceston do yourselves a favour and avoid this place entirely. View all feedback.
Employed small Indians on a center line, had to wait five minutes for a table. The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. The food was only average, I'm scared, beautiful, but nothing spectacular. Lamb Madras was not spicy enough and I usually go to Rogan Josh. Tikka Masala saw a bit watery and tasted like that. The portion size is small to medium.
The food was well surrounded and did not taste fresh at all. The chicken was dry and there was too much coriander. I had the mango chicken and it was basically just sugar. Normally it is a creamy mango base; But here it's just a funch mango with coriander and sugar pile.

Had dinner here on our recent stay in launceston, great indian food, fast service and friendly staff.
It's a very cold night in Launceston, wanted to have some nice and spicy food. I have ordered grilled dice lamb and prawn masala. I have never had such an un-Indian food in my life. The owner was very accomodating to my dietary requirements, but he needs to change his chef to have me again.
