Travelling through Tasmania, we found Iron House located at the back of Penny Royal in Launceston. It looks like this is a new venue for the Iron House Brewery / Distillery enabling the public to sample their beers, wines and spirits. The food (tasting boards) and the beer were really good. You can purchase a beer tasting paddle of good value, which consists of their four main beers. The staff were very friendly and... View all feedback.

The food here is really bad! Save yourself and don’t bother ordering the parmi. The staff were not surprised at all by the amount of patrons unsatisfied with their meals. View all feedback.

The food at this restaurant was delicious. We ordered pizza, pasta, salad, and loaded fries, and everything was fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for families.
Tucked away in the Penny Royle complex, this hidden gem offers a special deal for $25 that includes your choice of pizza, parmi, or pasta with a house drink (wine, cider, or beer). Our family opted for two pizzas - the Hawaiian and garlic prawn - and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The pizzas were expertly cooked and absolutely delicious.
Located in the small Penny Royal complex near the Cataract Gorge in Launcestion, we enjoyed a couple of drinks at Brady's Tavern. This is a great little place to sit in the sun and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and although we only went for drinks, which were good, we saw some wonderful looking pizzas being served! A nice place to visit if you are in Launceston.
We popped in for a bite to eat after some rock climbing at the adventure side of the park. The service was friendly and the environment was clean and tidy. The bacon, cheese, and aioli loaded fries were absolutely delicious. If we're ever back in Launceston, we'll definitely come back for a full meal.
