Casa Serrano - Laughlin

This restaurant offers some of the best Mexican food in Laughlin, Nevada. I can't recommend it enough to my friends and family! Keep up the amazing work!

However, this time the atmosphere felt quite different. The staff, who were usually cheerful and lively, seemed less enthusiastic. Our server was just okay; he did the bare minimum without adding any extra touch to the experience. It was my wife's birthday, and I had hoped to arrange a celebration at our table like we did last year, but I sensed that he wasn’t keen to accommodate, so I opted not to ask. When it came time to pay the bill, my son left a tip, and I was grateful he was courteous, as I wouldn't have felt the same. Unfortunately, this seems to reflect a broader trend in service quality these days. I'm not sure if we'll return in the future.

The service was quick, even though the staff was limited. The food arrived promptly and was fresh. However, the prices seemed a bit high, especially given the lack of seasoning and flavor. Both the chicken and beef tacos were well-cooked, but unfortunately tasted quite similar—bland and greasy. The rice had no flavor, and the beans were overly salty. The salsa also fell flat. Was it authentic Mexican cuisine? Yes, but it definitely lacked flavor. They really missed the mark on that front.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant thanks to the incredibly attentive staff. They serve the Southern Mexican cuisine I've been craving for so long. While exploring Don Laughlin's, the delicious aroma led me to this spot even before they officially opened. I knew right away that I would return for dinner.
