A hidden gem that we learned about from a friend who lives in Italy. Unquestionably the best meal we had in all of Italy. The restaurant has a nice, casual atmosphere, with a good mix of locals and tourists (it is near the center of Florence, so unless you 're walking 1 2 miles, even your local joints are going to have some tourists). It had one TV playing the football game, which many of the locals were glued to, but I wouldn 't characterize this as a sports bar by any means. My wife and I split a pasta, a Florentine steak, and a dessert it was plenty of food. The pasta (which name I did not write down) was unbelievable it was topped with fresh mozzarella chese, which melted into the pasta as we ate it. The Floretintine steak was perfectly cooked and tasty. As the steak is served on a sizzling hot iron plate, you can flip pieces of steak over to cook more thoroughly if one person if your party likes they steak cooked a bit more. As I prefer medium rare and my wife prefers medium, this was perfect for us. The steak at $45 per kg was more affordable than most of the steakhouses in the area. 5 star food 5 star price.

Carpaccio to start ...perfect , and my wife had crostini, the Parma ham was the best we had tasted all holiday . Main course Spaghetti a la casa again exceptional my wife had pici pasta for the first time and would have again ! All washed down with a good bottle of Bolgheri!! The waiters were attentive...we would return !

The six of us stopped in one evening for dinner. I had the pizza and most everyone else had the spaghetti. All very good. I’d recommend the place.

Then spectacular location with lawn adjacent to the spectacular fresh pig and boiled dish and flashed by delicious god and with wonderful colors surely when step from here I will stop

Great location for a lunch in complete relaxation. the owners very friendly and welcoming. excellent food and good quality, but the carbonara would say that it is superrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
