Most unfortunately, I order the vegan “lox” bagel. It was a good looking dish, but sadly, they decided to take a shortcut and smother it in liquid smoke. This made the bagel incredibly bitter, and essentially inedible. It might be the worst dish Ihave been served at a restaurant in my life. It is 4 hours later and my hands still smell like liquid smoke and I still havethe bitterness in my mouth. This might have ruined smoked flavor for me for life. I do not know if it was an execution erroror a design error. But I suspect it is the later. The addition of the rocket (arugula) just made the bitterness go from 11 to15. I like the place, and the server was really gracious about the whole thing, so I am not writing this review to be apetulant customer, but really to help the business by either removing this dish or reformulating it. To be clear, this is not amatter of taste: some people might like one flavor profile and others don’t. It really is a failed dish, like I have neverseen before in a professional kitchen.

I absolutely love 18Bin, located in the vibrant art district in downtown. The atmosphere is both lively and relaxed, and my favorite place to sit is on the patio. They also offer fantastic vegan options! I can't get enough of this place, especially the Bin Boy Fried—it's simply amazing! You definitely need to check this spot out.

Great food and a lively crowd. The atmosphere varies depending on the day and time you visit. First Fridays are packed, while regular nights still draw a good crowd. You can choose to hang out inside or outside. Service was a bit slow, but that was mainly due to the busy staff—nothing major. It’s a fantastic spot to experience local vibes and hang with friends. The music changes depending on the day, and sometimes there’s even a dance floor action. If you go on a Wednesday night, let’s have a drink. Cheers! Update as of 07/12/2022: Another fantastic visit on a Tuesday night comedy event. Drinks are reasonably priced, the tacos were delicious, and the customer service was truly excellent. Thanks for another great experience!

I regret to say that I ordered the vegan "lox" bagel at this restaurant, and it turned out to be quite disappointing. Although the dish was visually appealing, the flavor was a letdown. The kitchen seemingly took a shortcut by using excessive liquid smoke, which resulted in a bitter taste that made the bagel nearly inedible. In fact, it might have been the worst dish I've ever had at a restaurant. Even hours later, I could still smell the liquid smoke on my hands, and the bitterness lingered in my mouth, which may have ruined smoked flavors for me altogether. I'm unsure if this was a mistake in preparation or a fundamental flaw in the dish's concept, but I lean toward the latter. The addition of arugula only exacerbated the bitterness. On a positive note, the server handled my concerns with grace. I'm sharing this review not just to express my disappointment but to provide constructive feedback. I would recommend either removing this dish from the menu or completely reworking it, as this goes beyond personal preference; the execution was below the standard one would expect from a professional kitchen.
