There are a lot of places offering ice cream on a sunny beach day in Largs, but Geraldo's was the only one we found which labels vegan flavours. Plus, they have vegan wafer cones. Coconut tastes really nice and is perfect on a hot day! Some more flavours (why no sorbets?? would be very nice though
I had a small scoop of the vegan chocolate ice cream. It was delicious and so rich in flavour! Basically tasted like cold melted chocolate.
We tried Nardini's for vegan ice cream when visiting Largs but were disappointed they only had sorbet as the vegan options. So we decided to try Geraldo's. They only had vegan chocolate ice cream but the sprinkles were vegan too and it was yum. Just across road from where you get on/off the ferry to Millport.
While the big ice cream places in Largs only had sorbet for vegans, Geraldo's had a vegan chocolate plus raspberry sorbet in pride of place. Staff knew exactly which cones were vegan too.
Had two vegan options one icecream and one sorbet. Chocolate icecream was lovely and staff were very friendly. Sadly seems to have gone down hill from my previous visit only had one sorbet and no vegan icecream they also had vegan chocolate and sweets last time I visited but nothing now. Such a shame.
