I visited this pub for a meal and a pint, and it certainly lived up to my expectations. I ordered the mixed grill, and it was fantastic! I was even offered a peppercorn sauce to accompany it, which complemented the dish perfectly. The restaurant mostly attracts an older crowd, and unfortunately, there was an unpleasant odor. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the prices are reasonable. However, the atmosphere was quite dull; I'd prefer to dine at a family pub instead. The free pool on Fridays is a great bonus.
