Paid 50€ a person and left hungry...if you must go...ask for prices before hand. We sat on an uncomfortable picnic table, and the service was awful. At times we had to get up and get our food from the kitchen.. we heard amazing reviews from the past, I’m not sure if they are trying to recuperate losses from Covid restrictions, but our group of friends were left speechless at our final bill. Beware...

The owner was too busy to chat with friends to remember what we ordered, did not treat us with much care and attention and due to distraction the service took ages. Quite a provincial attitude in dealing with guests, which made us feel uncomfortable. The magnificent views, location and atmosphere were ruined by the high volume of the music on the stereo, which was inappropriate for the mountain style.

Then we were able to find it using g... read more We stopped by the restaurant after a day in the mountains. We couldn’t find it at first as it is away from the main street. Then we were able to find it using googlemaps. It’s about 800 meters up the mountain, but there is a road and you can reach it quite easily. But once we got there, we were happy with the choice as it had a beautiful view over the mountain. We came a bit early (around 19 hrs) as the restaurant opens at 20:00 for dinner. The owners offered us drinks and a plate of salame, proscutto and cheese while we were waiting for it to open. In fact in was good that we came early as we could enjoy the view of the opposite mountain before it got dark, but also because there are only a few tables outside and by 20 hrs all tables were taken. The restaurant has wooden tables, simple rustic mountain setting. It is run by a family and the owners treat people as their guests, they came to talk to us, giving very personalized attention to everyone. The menu has only a few items, but they are all fresh, high quality and taste as homemade. The restaurant is specialized on grilled meat (though only red meat). The cost varies from 2.5 euro for a sausage to 30-70 euro/kg of various types of meat. We ordered half kilo of fillet for 2 adults and one child and the portion was pretty big (definitely bigger than the one you would get in another restaurant). The meat was cooked on a grill in front of us. It was so tender and juicy! Side dishes cost about 3-4 euros. The other thing to mention is the red wine. We usually avoid home-made wines as it might be sour and not good quality. But in this case, their wine was really good, it had soft taste of good quality wine (only for 6 euros for 1l). Overall, it was a nice discovery and we’ll surely come back....
