Reviews - Colala Express
Reviews summary
This restaurant showcases a blend of culinary delights and disappointments, leaving patrons divided. While many rave about the freshness and generous portions of dishes like the House Special Chop Suey, Garlic Honey Chicken, and the savory dumplings, others lament over poorly executed items such as the General Tso chicken, described more as orange chicken—a far cry from expectations. Service has been inconsistent, with reports of unclean premises and slow order-taking. Despite some shining moments, including complimentary drinks and friendly staff, the experience is marred by inconsistency, making it difficult to determine the restaurant's true culinary identity.

The curry chicken is excellent, and the wonton soup is equally delightful! I can't wait to return for more.
This restaurant definitely deserves more than five stars! The entrance was spotless, and the food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. We chose takeout and were very impressed with the portion sizes, quality, and overall taste. This will surely become our new go-to place!

The first and last time I was there today. There was a dirty lawn mower in the middle of the lobby with grass marks. I was there five minutes and no one took my order.
Very bland food with the exception of the strange tasting egg rolls. Chicken was coated beautifully and thinly, but everything was bland.
In any case 5 stars plus... Clean branch, food was clean, tasty and well combined. We chose Takeout and we are very satisfied with the serving, quality and overall taste of food. We definitely do this our new number one.
I recently ordered the garlic honey chicken with shrimp fried rice at this restaurant, and let me tell you, it was definitely delicious! The dish was hot and the rice was generously filled with savory, tender shrimp. I give it two thumbs up for the freshness of the food, the friendliness of the staff, and the service quality. I am very pleased with my experience.
I had high hopes for this restaurant based on the reviews, but I was disappointed with the General Tso chicken and fried rice combo I ordered. The chicken didn't resemble General Tso's chicken and tasted more like orange chicken. It seemed undercooked and comparable to school cafeteria food. The only saving grace was the fried rice, which was decent. Overall, I was very let down by the chicken dish. It seemed hastily prepared and lacked flavor. I can only give this restaurant 2 stars.
