Percy French - Lanesborough-ballyleague

This restaurant is a good place for drinks, but unfortunately, there are no options for vegetarians or people with allergies. The food is deep fried or microwaved and is of low quality, with a tasteless flavor.

We recently dined at the Percy and were not impressed with the food. My steak was tough, the garlic potatoes were greasy and soggy, and my friend's vegetable curry had soggy and tasteless vegetables. Another friend had an issue with the prawns. The staff was friendly, which made it hard to complain in the moment. Overall, we were disappointed with the quality of the meal.

Stayed one night on our way to Dublin. Room was clean. Friendly staff. Did not eat in restaurant. Convenient location.

Had dinner which can only be described as been cooked by a 12 year old. Chicken curry, Mcdonald curry mix. Yuck! Husband had roast beef which was microwaved. Yuck! Lazy chef, son had chicken wings deep fried. Probably bought in bulk not cooked on premises thrown in deep fat frier. Won't be going back,

If you're traveling between Dublin and Achill, this restaurant is a great midpoint stop. The food is traditional pub fare, but really tasty, and the service was exceptional. I would definitely stop here again on my next trip out west!
