The Oxbow is attached to a motel on Lander's main drag. It has many signs hanging on and near it proclaiming the great food so I had to try it. I was so very disappointed. The host that greeted me as I arrived was clearly overwhelmed and stressed out about just where to seat customers. This was not a good sign of things to come. They were slammed but the food was good. A bus boy was better than our waitress, he was awesome but didn't get his name. Overall, will go back and would recommend.

I was in lander Wyoming on business and we went to the oxbow was suppose to be the best in town (first there are only about 5 restaurants in this town) so we went for lunch I ordered the ranch hand Burger I don't really remember what is suppose to be on this burger but I know it was suppose to have BBQ sauce it maybe had a drop on the edge and the patty its self was wicked dry it took almost 1 hour to get our food they said it was because of a big party but it seemed liked my burger sat there for a long time like i said was cold and dry not very happy my business trip was 1 week long so i really had no choice but to them give another try this time i ordered something for breakfast it was the banana bread French toast with warm syrup and a side of bacon first let's start with the best my side of bacon was stacked high and cooked to perfection so that's a big plus right off the top the banana bread French toast was AMAZING so thats my review and just to put this out there my boss really liked there food ate there almost everyday.
