Downstairs is a bit scruffy and can be loutish. It is passable if you can manage to get one of the few booths. There is a more pleasant seating area upstairs and a very fitting tribute to Eric and Ern on the wall. Our curries were as expected. Considerably more expensive than last year and less for the money. The best thing, as usual, is being able to order from your table via the app.

The place was buzzing, as usual, but the well prepared staff took it all in their stride. Service behind the bar and at the table was spot on and the curries were excellent. Standards are consistently high in this establishment, which is quite an achievement. To paraphrase Morecambe's greatest son, all the right notes and in the right order!
