I liked the fact the music wasnt too loud as this is something I encounter a lot ... the food was fantastic, potion sizes where more than enough and the price was great . Its a definite yes from me and would definitely return !! Service: 5

Room... read more The staff at this restaurant were lovely and very efficient. I gave the room a 4-star rating because, as a 6ft1 person, I found the bed to be a bit short. Room 8 was spacious enough to accommodate a king-size bed. However, my shorter partner had a pleasant sleep. Next time, I will inquire about a room with a larger bed. We booked last minute, so we likely got the last available room. The room was clean and the temperature control was perfect for our winter stay. The food was excellent, especially the steak and ale pie. I recommend booking a table in advance as the restaurant is busy due to its popular and cozy atmosphere. Upon reflection, I upgraded my rating for the room from 4 to 5 stars. Overall, it was a nice stopover at a good price. Thank you.
