I went for the lunch buffet and was impressed to find that out of the 12 dishes offered, only 2 were not vegan. The food was very good and I will definitely be returning soon to try items from the regular menu.
The food was excellent, the service was exceptional and quick. I will definitely return.
Norbu's menu offers a variety of Nepalese and Bhutanese dishes, with clearly marked vegan options. The steamed dumplings, which are beautifully presented and served with a cilantro dipping sauce, were a standout dish for us. We also enjoyed the Thali sampler, which allowed us to taste a selection of delicious Nepali dishes. In addition, we tried the mushroom Datsi, a dish made with vegan cheese and a sprinkle of traditional cheese. We were impressed by the affordable prices at Norbu and were thrilled to discover that it is a BYOB establishment. Despite feeling full, we couldn't resist sharing a slice of blueberry-lemon cheesecake, made with a cashew-based vegan cheese that was incredibly creamy and delicious. Overall, our experience at Norbu was fantastic, and we look forward to returning to try more offerings from their menu. The restaurant tends to be busy during the week, so reservations are recommended.
