Was Anonym at The Rosendale a mag?
Absolutely lovely spot. We went on a Thursday in June. The Rosendale has a beautiful leafy outdoor area for having a drink and chat, as well as a shaded back area with ping pong table on the night we went (a Thursday) it was quiet enough a mum could nurse her sleepy baby undisturbed. Food was fabulous, braised lamb was as savory and tender as one hopes, fish and chips was fresh hot and cracklingly crisp. Fell in love... View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about The Rosendale:
rosendale new managment. so happy that the Renaissance boys of avalon in capham and the bolingbroke in battersea have taken over the rosendale./ they have turned it into a beautiful pub and dining room with really beautiful British pub duve. I am very happy to spend more time there. View all feedback.

This place is unsure if it is a pub or a restaurant. Limited seating inside for anyone using the pub section and then the restaurant is really poorly run. Been 3 times and always had to complain about the length of time for food to arrive (45 minutes to 1 hour) Would certainly go to the Great North Wood instead.

We were here as part of a large family group celebrating a nieces 30th in a private room upstairs. On a very busy Sunday the staff were great . Helpful, efficient and lovely . My fish dish was delicious . A really lovely way to celebrate. Thank you all!

Visited this pub on a sunday early afternoon for lunch. I was on the lookout for a great Sunday Roast and was not disappointed. Really good quality food all round with quality ingredients. Customer service was excellent and friendly/helpful at all times. They also managed to seat us early with no issues which was appreciated. As i said, food quality was great. I went for the beef topside roast, meat was superb and cooked perfectly for me. Pots and veg also very good as gracy and yorkshire pudding spot on. My partner went for the burger which was also excellent. Great location and interior. I suspect this is a perfect location on a cold wintery day. Highly recommended and thank you.

We booked this place for our annual Christmas dinner because of the 3 course set menu deal for £21. However when we arrived we were told that was excluding Sunday's although we'd double checked this with the manager on making the reservation. They said there wasn't anything they could do about this even though it was their fault but after much bartering they offered us £25 for a 3 course from the normal menu. So we accepted this. For starter I chose the chicken liver terrine... The toast was stone cold despite the chargrilled affect and the terrine was pretty much tasteless, the chutney was what saved this dish. My friends who had the tartlet complained it was not really warm enough and the calamari seemed to be the best dish of the lot. For mains we went for the traditional Turkey which was a bit of a disappointment. The portion was very big, and the presentation was nice. However, as for taste it was all pretty mediocre. The cranberry sauce was acidic, and there was about 4 cranberries on my plate. The turkey wrapped in bacon and stuffing was just blah. There was no distinguishing taste between them. The roast potatoes saved the dish. As for dessert we were all pretty happy with our Apple Crumbles, Sorbets and Sticky Toffee puddings. Now as for service. It really could've been better the waitress who first attended to us looked like she was having a bad day and treated us that way. We had to continually get their attention to clear our plates or get more water for the table and one of the waiters was just a bit rude and impatient. I don't think we'll be rushing back here any time soon. But I think the atmosphere was nice enough for a small group to enjoy a beer.

I brought my friend to The Rosedale for a traditional English Sunday roast for Easter. The menu changes slightly every week, ensuring fresh options. The pub is roomy and suitable for families, yet offers a refined atmosphere. My friend's roast was plentiful and he relished it. My fish and chips were satisfactory, but looking back, I probably should have tried something more adventurous. The restaurant is located on a tranquil residential street, adding to its charming ambiance.
