Reviews summary
A restaurant experienced a mix-up with a birthday package delivery but Camila went above and beyond to rectify the situation, impressing the patrons. However, Karla, the supervisor, and the restaurant manager failed to make amends for the mistake. Another review praised the hotel location and breakfast but criticized the steak restaurant. Great service, amazing views, and delightful surprises were highlighted in a review that described a five-star hotel experience. A final review recommended the restaurant for great food and stellar service with an incredible view of the Thames River, Big Ben, and Westminster Abbey.

Nice service and the meat is outstanding. I want there with my daughter and we had a good moment. Better to book in advance to avoid disappointment as the restaurant is famous and close to the London Eye. After 8pm is a quite and lovely place with a river view. Enjoy ! View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Marriott:
Awful, pork crackling out of a bag! FFS, If you don't have the real thing just say you dont have it. Do not serve puffed scratchings out of a bag.! It gets one star because you can't give a minus and I felt sorry for the staff having to deliver food 20 mins after the rest of the party had theirs. For a large hotel chain it was very poor. We paid $1600 a night for our room and while the view was gorgeous, no one ever acknowledged me, only my husband. The room service was unavailable and our room doors kept needing to be fixed. Save your money and stay elsewhere.
Pure luxury! Was upgraded to a suite that overlooked the London Eye and it was a once in lifetime experience with views of the Thames all around. Great service, comfortable bed, quiet. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
High tea was an incredible experience! The view of the Thames was remarkable, but most of all the experience was special. We were treated so well and served delicious, macarons (not macaroons), mini sandwiches, scones and magnificent tea. We were offered champagne but just enjoyed the pot of tea. Our server was the most delightful young lady interning at the Marriott. What a wonderful way to end the day! Perfect....
Romantic views with sumptuous stake and fries. this spot is very date worth or ideal for friends. just a great spot to visit.
My wife and I took our family (eight of us) to Scotland, Ireland and London for 2+ weeks over Christmas and New Years. For New Years we stayed in two different Marriott properties in London--the County Hall and St. Ermin's. For New Year eve the County hall was $1,800 for a room for three (could NOT boo using Marriott reward points) with a view of Big Ben. Supposed to have been great room for viewing the fireworks. The St. Ermin's was a little over $200 per night per room BUT we were able to use reward points for two rooms. The staff seemed friendly but very, very formal and rehearsed. This is a GREAT property for those who are WELL off financially and who enjoy the rigid social status and formalities. We shared our king room with our 8 year old grand daughter who was suppose to have had her own bed but over or two night stay it never showed up. In our St. Ermine's rooms we received wine and cheese in recognition of Platinum status and at the County all--noting. To get a GOOD view of the fireworks we had to go outside. Those of our party that were on the opposite side of the river had a much better view than we had. Overall it was nice but very disappointing. Next time we will ALLstay at the St. Ermine's.

We had been putting off dining at this restaurant due to various events, but finally made it on the last Saturday when the offer for a three-course meal with drinks for £30 per person was still valid. This was a fantastic deal, and although I am not a big eater or drinker, I must say the staff here deserves top marks. The atmosphere is made romantic with lovely table settings, and the large room is divided by small bookcases to provide some privacy, with a smaller room at the end for more intimate dining. We were seated near the window and had a beautiful view of the sunset over the Thames and Big Ben. Special thanks to the friendly and efficient staff, particularly the young girls from France and Spain. Despite the assumption that diners stay for a long time, our dinner lasted over two hours, much longer than expected. We ordered the mussels, chicken, fish, winter berry cake (which I did not enjoy), and a trio of chocolates. Our alcoholic drinks were quickly swapped for non-alcoholic cocktails, which we both liked. When there was a minor issue with my chicken, the staff were quick to rectify it with more cocktails. This hands-on approach from the staff was impressive and greatly appreciated. Overall, we were touched by the excellent service and will likely return in the future. Romantic ambiance, great staff, and a good offer - what more could you ask for?
We were celebrating my wife's birthday and decided to purchase a balloons, card, and cake package for 60 pounds. Despite the package being scheduled for delivery at 9:30 AM on the 14th, only the cake arrived. When we informed Camila in the afternoon, she not only waived the charge but also personally retrieved the balloons and card to deliver them herself. This exemplary conflict resolution surpassed our expectations. Unfortunately, Karla, the supervisor, and the restaurant manager provided no apology or resolution for the mix-up. It was disappointing that after a series of rudeness, they did not even take care of our check. As a patron paying for four nights at the hotel, a gesture of courtesy, such as comping two beers, should have been the minimum expected. Old county hell building very historical. Next to the London Eye and across the river from Parlament. Nice restaurants but small bars. Some rooms are quite a walk from the lobby and elevators so if you handicapped I recommend you ask for close to the elevator
I ordered a cheeseburger cooked to medium doneness, but instead received a list of issues. I mentioned to the server that at an independent restaurant I could get a medium burger, which seemed to upset him. I ended up ordering the fish and chips, which was just okay. As I continued on to Surrey, I decided to send a few pictures of cheeseburgers to the uninformed server. My request was never denied.
