Around the corner and... read more We were about to drive to the coast when my son stopped at what seemed to be an urbanization and told me we were going to have breakfast. Around the corner and literally in a corner was this coffee shop without pretensions, but scrupulously clean, with a floor and polished wooden tables. The top of the list in the menu was a full English breakfast at 8.50 pounds including roasted bread with sour dough, scalphated egg, hash brown, tomatoes and real scratched bacon with beans. You can't resist that, and he hit the place keeping us up to lunch until 3 p.m., although I found the hash brown a little greasy, though maybe I always do. The tea was also delicious. They have other options, including a vegetarian breakfast. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit.
