Magic Wok - Lambertville
Magic Wok
Description
Magic Wok presents a mixed bag of experiences for diners. While some patrons appreciate the quick service and generous portions, others express frustration with unprofessional staff and unsatisfactory customer service. Many have found the food hit or miss, praising fresh vegetables yet critiquing the overall flavor. There are also complaints about erratic closing times and rude interactions in the drive-thru. Despite these inconsistencies, some visitors leave content with their meals, highlighting efficient service and hot food. As opinions diverge, potential diners may want to proceed with caution and weigh both positive and negative remarks before visiting.

I visited the restaurant's drive-thru on 5/18/24 and encountered a young man with dark hair and a beard who was incredibly rude. I requested for the crab Rangoons to be made softer due to my husband's dental issues, but was told they were already made. I received a refund and was told to go elsewhere. When I asked for the young man's name, the window was closed in my face. I returned to ask for his name again and he yelled that they could refuse service to anyone. Despite there being no other customers around, he refused my simple request. I plan on contacting the owners of the restaurant to address this unacceptable behavior.
It is strange for a restaurant to close at 5, but locking the door at 4:45 when it clearly states that it closes at 5 is ridiculous. I will not be returning. Stop being lazy.
The staff were friendly food was hot and fresh! The drive thru went quick and not a long wait to get the food!Parking: Magic wok is right by some stores so there is a good amount of parking
Some people in my family love this place, so the three stars is because of them. Personally, I've tried Magic Wok several times (because of my family) and there's something about the flavor that I just don't like. The veggies are fresh, but the chicken and sauce simply don't appeal to me and I can't pinpoint exactly what it is. I've never eaten inside, always drive-through, but I can't recommend it.
