The prices were very good and the food was excellent! We were fortunate to not have to wait long for a table and the restaurant offers complimentary water. You order at the counter and the food is served fairly quickly. We enjoyed the pork gyoza, fried rice with pork, and Tom gha chicken, all of which were delicious on a cool evening in early spring (end of September). As we were leaving, we noticed several tables with half-eaten ramen bowls, so we assume that their Thai food (which we had) was better than their Japanese ramen.
We ordered chicken fried rice, tofu green curry, and Vegan Gyoza. It was fantastic. The flavors were authentic and delicious.
Our experience at Ramen Tekapo was outstanding. The Laksa Chicken dish was a standout, with its fragrant broth complementing the tender chicken and fresh vegetables perfectly. The Red Curry Chicken was equally impressive, with a perfect balance of spice and creaminess. The portion sizes were generous, leaving us fully satisfied. The dishes were beautifully presented, showing the care put into their preparation. The chefs at Ramen Tekapo clearly have a deep understanding of Thai cuisine. The service was friendly and attentive, with staff providing helpful recommendations. Ramen Tekapo truly captures the essence of authentic Thai cuisine with bold flavors and skilled craftsmanship. It's a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. Don't miss the chance to enjoy their delicious offerings.
