I have visited this restaurant on three occasions. The first occasion, the food was fantastic and the chowder was so nice, we returned the following later for lunch. On our second visit the chowder was inedible. It was clearly the dregs of what was left...in the pot from the day before. We were in the area recently and said that we would try it again. Traditional, cozy, good kitchen. Saturday evening was dry, but the service moved to the bar.
Their statement on the provision of pub food is an underestimation of the quality of their food and services. we had the pleasure of getting a table and enjoying a complete meal with drinks, but we really celebrated our selection of this place. would not surprise us if the best is in the city. the one-pot, but surely also the muscheln in garlauch crème saus are really something to advise.
