Steak was over cooked we sent it back and had been there for so long just said we didn't want another. Loaded Mac was flavorless. And I really wanted it to be good. The boys wouldn't eat their Mac and cheese or chicken. Service was ehhh. Not terrible not great. Hostess was mean as we arrive to our reservation ten mins earlier so we went outside for ten mins and came back and then we got forgotten for ten mins . Don't go. It's just too much money, go to one of the actual restaurants in Lagrange or eat pizza at the pizza place. It was good.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have one because every time we called, we were directed back to the hotel reservation line. As local residents, we decided to go anyway since their Google listing doesn’t state that reservations are needed. However, even with several empty tables in the restaurant, we were informed that they were fully booked for the evening. It seems clear that they do not welcome non-hotel guests for dinner.

My daug... read more The artichoke dip was absolutely delicious, and the portion size was perfect! The chicken and cheese quesadilla was fantastic—it disappeared in no time. My daughter ordered soup, and the serving was gigantic! My husband loved the loaded mac and cheese, which was really flavorful. The kids chose their usual favorites, a burger and grilled cheese, and they couldn't stop talking about the fries! For dessert, the kids opted for the strawberry shortcake. They were expecting a traditional layered shortcake, but what they got was far larger than they anticipated; had they known it would be so big, they would have shared it! Our waitress was lovely and even took some extra time to chat with my 7-year-old about Legos, which truly made his night. If we lived nearby, I would definitely come back to this restaurant even if I weren't staying at the property!

After waiting an hour for our appetizer, we ended up canceling the order. We also asked for drink refills, which never came, as well as salt and pepper that were never provided. Although they did cover our entire bill, I still wouldn’t choose to return, especially given the high prices for dining at the lodge. The manager acknowledged our difficulties and offered an apology, but overall, this place simply isn’t worth the visit.
