Ev... read more I've lived in Macon County for over 20 years, and I recently stumbled upon this café. My son and I visited for the first time, and it was absolutely amazing! Everything about this place is wonderful! There’s memorabilia lining the walls, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the food—wow—is both delicious and reasonably priced for the generous portions! Unfortunately, I forgot my phone to take pictures, but believe me when I say... GIBSONS CAFE is officially our new favorite spot! A huge thank you to our waitress for making our visit special. So, everyone, make sure to check out GIBSONS CAFE for the BEST BLT and PHILLY STEAK you'll ever have!

The food exceeded my expectations, but I felt the prices were quite high. It seems like food costs have risen overall. This is the only restaurant I've come across that charges for takeout drinks; free refills are only for those dining in. It definitely put a downer on my afternoon!
