Zack's Lounge - Ladysmith

Happy local! found this little and I mean small gems on my way back to the ferry after a day on vancouver island motorsport circuit. great room design and even better eating. does not know that zack, but the new owner cole is a great host and knows his cocktails safely. will be safe again after my next track day.

Small, noisy, chairs were broken with no other option that we tried to put up with him, he forbids that they don't like anything! our table sent our drinks back because they had no taste, was not mixed properly. when we received the exact same drink back (not even give us a new one!) the bartender called us when we couldn't drink them (unintelligently did not want to pay for them! who cries their customers for their mistakes!? will never go back, they will not suggest!

My father and I drove from vic to alberni and stopped in ladysmith for lunch. we found this place randomly on google. this place has far exceeded our expectations. my father said it was the best chicken burger he had ever had. my tostadas are also from this world. I'm sure I'll come back to my next trip.

We went to eat a few days ago. the service was friendly and fast. Unfortunately, they don't keep the drunk in a bit. we sat next to a table that cried all night, completely acceptable. we had no talks between us.

Food is basic but good (standard pub fare). Portions were huge (so many fries Prices are comparable to similar places. Its a smallish place and can get quite loud.I would go there again.
