Here you will find the menu of Kabachi-ya in LABRADOR. At the moment, there are 24 dishes and drinks on the menu.

Nestled on the Gold Coast, this charming restaurant offers an array of Japanese dishes that have garnered a mix of admiration and critique. While the acclaimed ramen, especially the Tan Tan, draws loyal patrons with its authentic flavors, some dishes like the Takoyaki and fried tofu have disappointed, with issues of texture and temperature. Despite these inconsistencies, the overall dining experience shines through, thanks to the friendly service and fresh ingredients, particularly the standout aburi salmon bowl. It’s advisable to book in advance due to its popularity, ensuring a delightful outing for both first-timers and seasoned visitors alike.

Was User at Kabachi-ya a mag?
a little hard to reach. but it was worth it. an incredible experience. eating is good and delicious. I just tried the rams and the huh katsu don. it is a small place, so I would recommend booking in advance when they go on a busy day. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Kabachi-ya:
The food at this restaurant was disappointing and did not meet legal standards. The overall rating of 4.6 seems misleading. I noticed two ovens in use, but one of them was quite small. The flavors were lacking, and the eggs were subpar, not reflecting the quality expected from a good home-cooked meal, despite 14 attempts to make them appealing. View all feedback.

As for the food, the Takoyaki was crispy on the outside, but the inside was cold. The black garlic ramen and classic pork ramen, on the other hand, were fantastic! We had some concerns about the ramen being too salty based on a previous review, but it turned out to be just right for us. We plan to return, but we hope the tables will be cleaner, and that the Takoyaki will be served hot next time.

My favorite Japanese restaurant on the Gold Coast! The aburi salmon bowl is always incredibly fresh! And the mini curry for just $5 is a fantastic deal! The prices are very reasonable compared to other places, yet the quality of the food never disappoints!

Cheap, cheap, cheap. Ramen flavor is average, but you won't ask more for such cheap price. Soft boiled egg is overcooked.

Absolute top tier authentic ramen. Love this place, been going here for years, amazing food, Tan Tan is the best on the Gold Coast by far. Super friendly owners too.
