Loboc River Resort offers a peaceful dining experience with excellent food overlooking the river. The open-air restaurant has a safari lodge feel with very good and friendly staff. The menu is great, especially local dishes like fish in coconut sauce and garlic fried chicken. The resort is a perfect location to explore the attractions of Bohol, with attentive and welcoming staff, and a beautiful pool with river views. Although service can be slow due to limited restaurant employees, the overall experience is recommended for those looking for a relaxing and unique stay away from the beaches of Bohol.
Loboc River Resort's restaurant has a relaxing riverside view. Best to have an early dinner here to catch the golden sunset while enjoying local fare.
Great menu but i recommend the local dishes over the others. The fish in coconut sauce is excellent, as is the garlic fried chicken. The breakfast is also excellent.
It was 9pm after our SUP firefly tour. The service was great. The only restaurant where we experienced this trip where they did not forget 1 dish/only brought 1 person's drink. Food was good vs other places we had been (overall cuisine in Bohol had not been great).
We had a great experience at lrr. if you want to see some of the mainland attractions of bohol, this is the perfect location. the staff was super friendly and welcoming and made the stay very pleasant. the restaurant is a chilled place to simply hang and eating is brilliant. the pool, beautifully located with views over the river, was great. the room in which we stayed over the garden and was good, although a little dated perhaps, but attached in the nature experience of the site. Overall, we definitely recommend staying here a few days to enjoy something different from the beaches of bohol.
