Village Pizza - Laboc

Als je van pizza houdt is dit restaurant echt fantastisch. Je moet wel geduldig zijn, want het is maar een oven en maar een chef. Het is het wachten waard, want de pizza's zijn verrukkelijk!!!

Íbamos hacia los restaurantes flotantes de Loboc, cuando vimos que estaban cerrados y comenzava a llover. Todo el plan que teníamos al traste... Y cuándo volvíamos al hotel y menos lo esperábamos... ¡VILLAGIO'S PIZZA apareció ante nosotros! La mejor pizza que he comido desde hace mucho tiempo. No recuerdo una tan buena desde que estuve en Roma, y tengo dudas de que llegará al sabor y gusta de esta. Y además, un precio buenísimo. Una pizza talla L (hay S, M, L y XL) con la que cenan dos personas y una cerveza San Miguel de litro, por 400 pesos (8€ +-). Sólo hay que ver al artista que hay haciendo las pizzas, con el tacto que las hace y lo majete que es; y, por supuesto, el horno de leña para saber que has acertado sentadote en ese lugar. Sólo puedo decir: "Salamat po".

When you out in scorching sunshine and visiting many places, and your body requires some fill up, then a pizza will fill that empty space. The pizza was OK, but we had savoured must better than this. You could certainly do worse than the Village Pizza Loboc. Is it the best pizza ever? No, and not even the best we had in the Philippines (Altrove in El Nido was better), but it was pretty good and inexpensive. The crust was nice and thin, the toppings were generous and it was hand-made in front of us before going into a wood-fired oven. The beer was frosty cold and very welcome on a hot day. So if you're looking for a safe option in Loboc, you won't be disappointed with Village pizza.
