Subway - La Mesa

The evening male worker has consistently displayed a rude attitude for the past two months. He often struggles to hear and makes customers repeat themselves while giving them a disgusted look, as if it's our fault. Additionally, he puts items on the sandwiches that I haven’t ordered each time I place my order.

I've been buying turkey bacon avocado sandwiches from Subway my whole life, and I've never had a worker be rude to me before. An older woman with dark hair was annoyed because I asked her to repeat herself—I couldn't hear her well due to her mask and accent. She even rolled her eyes at me. I was on break as a delivery driver and wasn't expecting such attitude when I ordered a sandwich that any Subway should be able to make. I ended up just walking out to avoid further confrontation. It's a really rough area, so I can understand why the quality at this Subway is poor.

This is the best Subway in the La Mesa area. The staff is friendly, the service is excellent and fast, and the deli meats and vegetables are always fresh. Other Subways in the area should take note of how this one is run. I will definitely be coming back!

The Subway located at El Cajon Boulevard and Marlborough Avenue is fantastic! The staff is incredibly polite and always eager to offer recommendations to help you get the best value for your money. They have many specials, and the food is delicious!
