Hace 16 años estuve por primera vez en este lugar (a otra sucursal) y la verdad me parecio muy bueno por esto quise regresar y la verdad no me decepcionaron el lugar sigue siendo muy bueno la comida y la atencion son excelentes.En cuanto a los precios me paracen buenos para el tipo de comida que brindan, la calidad de los empleados es muy buena RECOMENDADISIMO. Iba a celebrar ocasiones especiales en la sede anterior, y siempre me sorprendía con el espectáculo de los meseros, unos recuerdos muy bonitos. Visité la nueva sede y aunque no es tan tradicional como la anterior, el servicio sigue siendo muy bueno. Mi único comentario es que las mesas están muy pegadas y la música podría tener menos volumen, para poder hablar. View all feedback.
Empanadas are great here. The chicken never fails! Traditional place in Bogotá, frindly staff. Place is ideal for large groups and special celebrations.
We went a few times between December and January because the food really surprised us. The steaks are well cooked and served with arepa, potato with cream and bananas. The portions are generous and have a lot of Entrees to have a good time.

At “Carbon de Palo” the steak that I ordered was very fibrous and chewy, but I did not complained because as this is not a high end restaurant I did not have high expectations about this place. The waiter saw my struggle when I tried to cut a piece of steak and when I was chewing and asked me if everything was fine. I told him that the meat was very hard and he said that he noticed that when I was trying to cut a piece. He took it away, and in less than five minutes he came back with a fresh order and asked me to try it and let him know if there was something wrong. The new steak was tender, juicy, and perfect medium doneness. When I was going to pay they said that they had taken my order off the bill, but I asked them not to do it because they handled the situation really well. This inconvenient was managed extremely well. Not like what happened to me at Harry Sasson.
