Blackfish Cafe - Lincoln City

We've never eaten here. It was my birthday and I wanted Kyllos, but they had a two-hour waiting period. I'm glad to say that we have a new favorite on the beach. This place had a great menu, amazing service and they have us right in! Your special attention to ingredients and serving quality foods has definitely been noticed! We will return. I didn't catch our waiter's name, but she was very sweet and real!

The fish and chips are amazing! And we still talk about the grilled fish sandwich and the Remoulade sauce. We appreciate the care the staff needed to be careful to create a really clean attitude.

That was a wonderful surprise and the boss was a gastronomic genius! I had the special for the evening, which was a pan horseradish Halibut freshly caught this day with Dungeness crab served over a bed of white sharp Cheddar Risotto with a par blanc sauce and fresh string beans. Each bite was perfectly balanced and spiced. My mouth just pours on it. We can't wait to come back. If you love incredible and well cured food, then Blackfish is a must next time in Lincoln City. And I shouldn't forget to mention her cocktails... her Marion Berry Mojito was great!

3.5 stars for this lunch next to the main resistance, clean but no specific atmosphere to speak. Fish n chips (actual dough, slightly overdone) quite good, but not great, Coleslaw ave, tartaric acid needs taste. Clam chowder volume, but average, good amount of ingredients, but a little on the thin end, and some bland. Calamari very good, salmon Ceasar Very good, recommended.

The food was absolutely fantastic! The chinook salmon was cooked to perfection, my dietary needs including no potatoes or butter was gracefully attended to. The salad was crisp and the herb binagrette gave a perfect tang to the noticably fresh produce. The staff was attentive and friendly but unobtrusive as needed. We felt very well cared for and well fed!
